Marco Dalle Molle
I was born and raised in the 1990s, a period that shaped the way I see things: less appearance, more substance, and greater attention to the real value of what we do.
My story with watchmaking began very early. My family ran a small local jewellery shop and, as a child, I spent a great deal of time there watching my father repair watches of every kind.
That is where a concrete passion was born: a passion made of manual skill, curiosity and respect for watches.
From a very young age I started disassembling and reassembling watches, to the point of explaining how they worked as my final middle-school project. Despite this, my studies initially took me elsewhere:
at 14 I wanted to attend a watchmaking school, but at the time the only options available were in Switzerland and not accessible to me. After several experiences in different areas, from technical to commercial roles, I finally had the opportunity to return to that postponed choice.
In 2014 I officially began my career as a watchmaker, a profession I now practise with pride. Over time I understood that this craft goes far beyond the technical side: it requires patience, listening, attention and a balanced view of the value of objects and time.
My direct experience with the market and collecting led me to reflect deeply on the meaning of possession and appearance. This personal path has influenced the way I work and teach: what matters is not what you own, but who you are and how you choose to do things.
In my work and in my academy, I want to transmit an authentic and direct approach, free from unnecessary formalities.
I believe in repair, reuse, calm and quality, both in manual work and in lifestyle.
For me, watchmaking is a concrete, accessible and deeply human craft.
This is how I live and teach watchmaking:
meditative concentration, respect for time and its instruments regardless of their value, respect for people and for things done properly.
My certifications
Thanks to more than ten years of experience in high-end watchmaking, professional certifications from luxury brands such as Omega, Longines (Swatch Group), TAG Heuer and Zenith (LVMH), and several collaborations developed throughout my career, I am able to provide extended assistance for most prestigious watches on the market.
